Out With The Old – In With The New
73 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra
The Brief
In 2016, South Haven saw an opportunity to activate our brand in Canberra and have a positive impact on the commercial office market in a growing Canberra City.
The brief was to transform a tired and neglected building to provide high-end amenities and beautiful communal spaces for all occupants, to add value to their business and enhance their success.
As part of the building upgrade, the car park was revitalised, and new bike storage facilities and state of the art end-of-trip facilities were created.
The Works
- New market leading disabled, female, and male end-of-trip facilities, including showers and digital lockers
- Repainting of basement with a brightly coloured design
- Creation of two new bike storage spaces, which include a charging station for e-bikes, pumps and repair stations
The Outcome
A beautifully transformed building with a lighter and brighter car park with excellent wayfinding signage, and state of the art end-of-trip facilities for all occupants to enjoy.
The building has now been re-positioned in the market, which along with the new tram stop at its doorstep, will translate into a fully leased space with happy tenants.
